1. Prices and quotations
- Prices on the website are in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) per unit, before delivery. The price calculator gives an estimate; the formal quotation is what applies.
- Quotations are valid for 14 days. Quantity prices apply to one order of one design delivered to one address unless the quotation says otherwise.
- A setup fee of LKR 2,500 applies per new design unless waived as stated on the website or quotation. If we become registered for VAT, VAT will be shown on quotations and invoices.
- We correct obvious pricing errors before you confirm. If an error is found after you confirm, we will contact you before going ahead and you may cancel for a full refund.
2. Your designs and permission to use them
- You confirm that you own, or have written permission to use, every logo, crest, name, photograph and text you send us. Schools, clubs and associations provide a short permission letter before production.
- You keep all rights in your brand. You give us permission to use your files only to make your order and keep them on record for re-orders.
- We do not reproduce other companies' trademarks without permission, copyrighted characters, religious images, or content that is unlawful or offensive. We may decline any order at our discretion.
- With your permission only, we may photograph finished work for our portfolio. You can say no on your quotation or at any time.
3. Mockups and approval
- Each new design gets a mockup with up to two rounds of changes included. Further rounds may be charged at the rate on the quotation.
- Production starts only after you approve the mockup in writing (email or WhatsApp). Please check spelling, numbers, colours and quantities: we make exactly what you approve.
- Colours are matched to the closest filament we stock and shown on the mockup. Screens show colours differently, so for an exact brand colour ask for a printed colour proof (LKR 1,500, credited on orders over LKR 25,000).
- 3D-printed objects show fine layer lines and small variations between batches. These are part of the product, not defects.
4. Payment
- A 50% deposit confirms the order and books it into our schedule. The balance is due before dispatch or on delivery, as stated on the quotation.
- We accept card payments through PayHere, LankaQR and bank transfer. Registered organisations may order on a purchase order on agreed terms.
- Title in the goods passes to you when we receive full payment. Risk passes to you on delivery.
5. Delivery dates
- Every quotation carries a delivery date, counted in working days from mockup approval and deposit. Dates depend on you approving the mockup and paying the deposit when planned; delays on either side move the date by the same number of days.
- We deliver in the Galle area by PickMe Flash and island-wide by Koombiyo, or you can collect in Galle by appointment. Delivery charges are shown on the quotation.
- If we see a risk to your date, we tell you as soon as we know. If we miss the written date through our own fault, you may cancel the undelivered items for a full refund of what you paid for them.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as power cuts, severe weather, strikes or courier disruption; we will keep you informed.
- Please check the delivery on arrival and sign the delivery note. Report any damage or shortage under our Returns policy.
6. Changes and cancellation
- You can change or cancel an order free of charge before you approve the mockup. After approval and before production starts, cancellation costs the setup fee.
- Once production has started, an order cannot be cancelled except as allowed in these terms or the Returns policy.
- Rush orders (delivery inside our standard lead time) cost 30% extra and are accepted only when our schedule allows.
7. Returns
Our 30-day return policy, including returns for damaged items within 30 days of delivery, is set out on the Returns & Refunds page and forms part of these terms.
8. Mark & Medal Tap (NFC links)
- NFC products are programmed to a Mark & Medal link (markandmedal.lk/t/…) that we redirect to the page you choose.
- Tap Basic is free for the life of the product. Tap Pro and Tap Fleet are paid subscriptions billed as stated when you subscribe and can be cancelled at the end of any billing period.
- You are responsible for the pages your tags point to. We may disable a link that points to unlawful, harmful or misleading content, or that breaks the rules of the destination platform (for example, filtering who can leave a Google review).
- We aim to keep the link service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Every product also carries a QR code.
9. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit, revenue or goodwill.
- You agree to cover our costs if a claim is made against us because you did not have the right to use a design you supplied.
10. Use of the website
- Website content, product photographs and illustrations belong to Mark & Medal or its licensors. Product images are design illustrations; the brands shown on them are fictional.
- Do not misuse the site, its forms or the price calculator, for example by sending spam or attempting to access systems you are not authorised to use.
- How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
11. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
- If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version on the website when you confirm an order applies to that order.
