Ordering
What is the minimum order?+
Most pieces start at 10 units; review stands, signs, name boards and trophies can be ordered singly. Each product page shows its minimum.
What do you need from us?+
Your logo or crest as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) if you have one, your brand colours, the quantity and the date you need it. If you are a LOOM client, we already have your files.
How exact are the colours?+
We match each brand colour to the nearest filament we stock and tell you how close it is. For a new colour we can print a physical proof first (LKR 1,500, credited on orders over LKR 25,000). Each piece can carry up to four colours.
Is there a setup fee?+
LKR 2,500 per new design. It is waived on kits, on orders over LKR 25,000 and for LOOM clients whose files we hold. Re-orders of an approved design have no setup fee.
How do you set the delivery date?+
We plan every order against our print schedule and put the date on your quotation. Lead times count in working days from mockup approval. Rush orders are possible when the schedule allows, at 30% extra.
How do I pay?+
A 50% deposit confirms the order and the balance is due on delivery. Pay by card through PayHere, LankaQR or bank transfer. Registered organisations can order on a purchase order.
Are the pieces plastic?+
Yes — engineered 3D-printing plastics: PLA for indoor pieces, PETG for things that are handled a lot, and ASA for anything outdoors or in a car. Finishes include matte, silk-metallic gold and silver, and layered colour.
Do you have a referral programme?+
Yes: refer us, earn 10%. Recommend Mark & Medal to another business, school or hotel and earn 10% of their first order, or 12% once your referred orders pass LKR 100,000 within 90 days. Rewards are paid by bank transfer once you reach LKR 2,500, or as Mark & Medal order credit worth 20% more. Your link is remembered for 30 days. Join at markandmedal.lk/refer.
Do you print anything we send?+
No. We make brand objects from your own logo or crest. We don't print copyrighted characters, other companies' logos without permission, or religious images.
Cafés & small businesses
How does the NFC review stand work?+
There is a small NFC tag inside the stand and a QR code on the front. A customer taps their phone on the stand (or scans the code) and your Google review page opens. We programme the tag and test it on Android and iPhone before delivery.
Can I change where the stand points later?+
Yes. Every tag points to a Mark & Medal Tap link, so we can change the destination for you at no charge — for example from your review page to a new menu. Tap Pro lets you change it yourself and see how many taps you get.
How long does a Counter Kit take?+
Seven working days from the day you approve the mockup. If you are a LOOM client we already have your brand files, so the mockup usually comes back within one working day.
Will an outdoor name board fade in the sun?+
Outdoor pieces are printed in ASA, a plastic made for UV and heat, rather than the PLA or acrylic most signs use. It is the right material for Sri Lankan sun and rain; we are running our own rooftop test and will publish the results.
Do you deliver outside Galle?+
Yes. Galle-area orders go by PickMe Flash; everywhere else by Koombiyo, usually within 1–3 working days of dispatch.
Corporate gifts & awards
When do we need to order for Christmas and year-end?+
By 15 November for delivery before 20 December. For Avurudu gifts, order by 28 February; for financial-year-end awards, by 20 February.
Can you deliver to all our branches?+
Yes. We split the order by branch and send each one with its own delivery note, so every branch can raise its own GRN. Each extra address is charged at the courier rate: about LKR 500 by PickMe Flash in Galle, or LKR 450 by Koombiyo elsewhere.
What can an NFC keychain open?+
Any web link: your website, a campaign page, a digital business card, a staff profile, a WhatsApp chat or a video. One tap on an Android phone or a recent iPhone opens it — no app needed.
Do you accept purchase orders?+
Yes, from registered organisations. We issue a formal quotation, a proforma if your finance team needs one, a tax invoice and a delivery note. Terms on request.
Can we see a sample first?+
Yes. A printed colour proof is LKR 1,500 and is credited against orders over LKR 25,000. We also carry sample boxes to meetings in Galle and Colombo.
Schools & old boys' associations
Do you need permission to use our crest?+
Yes. We ask for a short written permission from the principal, the OBA or the club before production, and we check the crest line by line against it. We provide a template letter.
When should we order medals for the inter-house meet?+
By 15 December for meets between January and March. Medals take 10 working days after mockup approval, and the busy season fills our schedule quickly.
How much are crest medals for 100 or more?+
LKR 740 each at 100+, LKR 810 at 50+ and LKR 870 at 25+, with a house-colour ribbon included. For 250 or more we quote individually.
Can our OBA sell the merchandise at the big match?+
Yes — key tags, magnets and car badges are priced so the association can resell them. The OBA Big-Match Pack is built for exactly that.
Can we pay from the school fund or SDS?+
Yes. We issue formal quotations for your committee and a proper invoice and delivery note. Payment by bank transfer, LankaQR, card, or purchase order.
Hotels & villas
Are the room plates suitable for open-air corridors?+
Room plates and outdoor signs are printed in ASA, a plastic made to resist UV and heat, rather than acrylic or PLA. They can be fixed with screws or outdoor adhesive.
Can the room plates match our interior design?+
Yes. We work from your logo, fonts and colours, or your designer's drawings, and add motifs like frangipani or waves. You approve a mockup before production.
What does the guest tap tile do?+
A guest taps it to open your Wi-Fi details, house guide, breakfast menu or review page — one page or several. You can change the destination at any time.
How does souvenir consignment work?+
We place a stock of magnets with your property's name at reception or in your shop and restock monthly. You keep 35% of each sale and pay nothing up front.
When is the best time to order?+
Before the November–April season for the south and west coast, or during May–September refits.
